Foam Roller

Foam Roller For Pain Relief

Now that I'm in my thirties, I'm paying more attention to fitness than I ever have before. I've found that working off the effects of a night of beer and pizza with my friends takes a lot more effort than it used to -- and leaves me feeling pretty sore for days to come. This soreness prevents me from working out more frequently, which obviously doesn't help matters. I finally asked one of the trainers at the gym, and he recommended trying a massage foam roller the day after a tough workout.I'd seen people using massage foam rollers in some of the classes at the gym, but I never bothered asking what they were doing. I thought it was just another trend that would give way in a few months. After the trainer explained some of the benefits of stretching and exercising with massage foam rollers, I now look at those things in a whole new light.

I went out and bought my own massage foam roller the next day. The product came with an instructional DVD that was meant to help first-timers learn about proper (and safe) usage. I watched the DVD, then tried a few of the more basic exercises on my own. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first, but this massage foam roller really does help!

I don't pretend to know all the physics involved in the process or why massage foam rollers help loosen muscles. I'm sure a fitness expert would have those details if you're interested in learning. What I can tell you is that I was able to relieve muscle pain and tightness by using one of these things, and am now recovering from workouts faster than ever before.

To be honest, it's no picnic when I'm actually doing these exercises, but not long afterwards, I start to feel immensely better. Because I'm recovering faster and experiencing less soreness overall, I'm able to fit more workout sessions in every week. This in turn is improving my fitness level and helping me lose weight.

If you're in the same position I was and need some relief from muscle pain, I recommend checking out massage foam rollers. They're inexpensive and allow you to treat your soreness in the privacy of your own home without paying hundreds of dollars for a physical therapist. Best of all, they're effective. Get one today and start healing faster!
